Show HN: Presentation Tool for Haters of PowerPoint
- fernly 3y agooverview and "about" on root URL https://meetslides.com/ https://meetslides.com/
- dkaigorodov 3y agoDo not understand. I guess, you suggest to add 'about us' and 'product overview' info to the main page. Correct?
- fernly 3y agoDeleted all the slides, couldn't delete the last, so typed new content on it. Now, to add a new slide... um how? Add new slide isn't on the popup menu. Ah, it's command-return (I'm on a Mac)
- dkaigorodov 3y agoThere are two ways you can add new slide: 1) Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter 2) '+' button on the bottom left Yes, the first priority of MeetSlides is to allow create presentation using keyboard. You can use mouse, but you don' have to. Using keyboard you stay focused on the message, not on adjusting layout. Cheers.
- fernly 3y agoSupposedly smooth integration with stock photo sites but I don't see any kind of link or button or menu item for that.
- dkaigorodov 3y agoType "Mountain" on your slide then press Ctrl+J. Or, 1) click a slide, 2) type keyword as slide content 3) three vertical dots to open menu 4) click "Next stock background"
- fernly 3y agoClicking "Try Interactive Demo" gets "Presentation not found." Bye bye
- dkaigorodov 3y agoHm, weird. Just tested, can't reproduce. Will try figure out what happened, thanks for reporting.
