Are there some interesting examples of real world applications of this stuff? Is it like planning problems or supply chain optimization etc.?
I've used SAT solvers recreationally to try solve some mathematical combinatoricsish-like problems but interesting more down-to-earth applications have eluded me. I would love to dig deeper into this stuff.

- currymj 3y agoGurobi (maker of a MIP solver) has a bunch of industry case studies as marketing materials on their website: https://www.gurobi.com/case_studies/ https://www.gurobi.com/case_studies/ however, it's mixed-integer programming rather than SAT solvers/constraint programming, but similar in spirit.
