I'd love to see the UK Government block access to Wikipedia over this, and then watch productivity in academia (and many industries) drop by 20-30% overnight, while the international press compares them to Turkey and Pakistan, until they eventually get slapped by the High Court. There's no way they come out on top here, unless Wikipedia folds on this issue.
- sharemywin 3y agocan it be duplicated?
- hollerith 3y agoYes, Wikipedia is under a license allowing others to publish the content, and others have over the years. In fact, Wikimedia publishes data dumps that facilitate that -- or at least they used to.

- gumballindie 3y agoHopefully there isnt much academia relying on wikipedia. And that which can jolly go out of business.
