It's a cheeky way to say @ protocol.
- detourdog 3y agoMaybe they could call it the Strudel protocol?
- sgtnoodle 3y ago"The protocol formerly known as Strudel"?
- contingencies 3y agoFetus
- detourdog 3y agoI think to use the fetus the @ should represent a kernel, object, but in a generic form such / representing the top of the tree. I can also see the term becoming controversial such male and female vs. plug and socket. Some see the former as blatantly sexual and the latter requiring dirty mind to be sexual. Maybe it's best to hold off on that reference until we get more voices to chime in.
- airstrike 3y ago"Rocambole" would be even easier to search for
- detourdog 3y agoOk, If I make a protocol I will call it "rocambole" but I will be thinking of the sand leek rather than the victorian fictional adventurer.
- airstrike 3y agoLOL I was mostly thinking of the swiss roll but I know it's only called rocambole in Brazil. It's got all sorts of names all over the world according to Wikipedia
- detourdog 3y agoI had no idea what it was. Those of what I found one seemed plausible and the other worth mentioning. Glad it was something else entirely. The localization for Brazil can be rocambole.
- pelagicAustral 3y agoMan! I like that name already
