This conflates a lot. Western states sold more evs while less western dealerships sold evs at all. That just reflects how hyper local the advantages of ev ownership are right now. Most of the west is rural, therefore are less likely to have customers wanting ecars. While I welcome progress, lasy reporting like this helps nobody.
