The IP/Copyright belongs to you. It's a common concern when outsourcing software, so my goal is to make it concern-free like Upwork does. Def good question, I'll make changes. IP and trade secrets are protected by the contract with the engineers.
I'm targeting enterprise customers and they have more complex products and requirements so yes, $12,800/mo is for prototyping. My assumption is that mid-level tech execs have experience outsourcing software, so they know exactly when it's working out and when not. Yes, there will be daily and weekly check-ins and the process tracking tools in place, just like with the in-house team.
