Why regurgitate an obviously failed philosophy?

  The thing that really gets me is that he wore button up shirts a lot. Look at where that got him. Dead in a shed from a fire that started from candles. I can't believe people still wear these.

  Oddly enough, I think what he said still stands, but as one of the sibling comments points out, he didn't take his own advice. Simply knowing what's true, and teaching what is true, doesn't make you a true believer.

  If any time a proponent of a philosophy has a bad life you declare the philosophy failed, there must be very few left.
