- CharlesW 3y ago> What kind of latency can be achieved by ipad hardware? This is old, but ~11ms seems typical: https://onyx3.com/LatencyMeter/ios-audio-guitar-interfaces-latency.html https://onyx3.com/LatencyMeter/ios-audio-guitar-interfaces-l... This site also documents 11ms round-trip latency with an iRig on an iPad 2: http://www.michalkaszczyszyn.com/en/tutorials/latency.html http://www.michalkaszczyszyn.com/en/tutorials/latency.html
- LegitShady 3y agoiPad already supported class compliant audio interfaces.
- recursive 3y agoInteresting fact, although it also doesn't provide any information about latency.
- LegitShady 3y agoWhen I have a bit of time later this evening I'll plug my presonus into the my ipad and see if any of the daws I have on there can measure it. It's not an m1 ipad though - 2018 pro.
