Frequently Asked Questions about Time
- nh23423fefe 3y agoThe (apparent) turn of modern physics (viewed from the outside) toward information theory and complexity theory is incredibly interesting to me. To me it seems like a way of identifying principles which could lead to some physical intuition a la Einstein's "equivalence principle" or Heisenberg's "observability principle" These field seems like could provide a meaningful answer to a question like what is a clock (entropy producer?) and what are rulers (entanglement measures?) I think we are going to find the rules of reality are more and more overdetermined, once we have the right principles.
