Elon Musk says Twitter is purging old accounts, freeing up desired usernames
- timonoko 3y agoElon is also liberating banned & locked accounts. Worth a try if you have one. European moderation was defacto run by Ruzzians, so russophobia was main reason for banishment. They are all gone now, thanks to Elon.
- 3000 3y agodidnt they come up with this idea a few years ago as well? and it was a shit storm, you would lose historical tweets from dead people, like aaron schwartz etc.
- LLcolD 3y agoI think that I saw somewhere that old tweets would be archived, or something like that.
- Zigurd 3y agoThis is going as well as expected. People are posting. they are losing deal loved ones' tweets.
