I feel that a pertinent question for us non-Indian tech workers who by the nature of the industry often report to Indian managers is where we rank in the caste system. We’re obviously outcaste by default, but I wonder if there’s a difference between Indian and foreign outcaste. The answer feels a bit mealy-mouthed to me: “The Bhagavad Gita emphasizes that all people, regardless of their background, should be treated with respect and kindness.”
