- bluesounddirect 3y agoYeah sorry I should have been clearer. But you are right people finally realized she was peddling total bullshit . Her programs were including teaching practices like “skippy the frog” teaching kids to not sound out or use phonics , but to just skip the words you can’t read . She also pushed the idea that OG based programs were bad compared to hers . Her status as a Columbia prof convinced people she had good ideas .
