From a CBS article:
"I think that is part of what is making it difficult for the untrained ear to differentiate between these AI-generated and non-AI generated tunes," music journalist Hattie Lindert told CBS News on Tuesday. "It's pretty convincing when there are so many Drake tracks that AI can train from."
IMO that's another example of plagiarism, right?
- eppp 3y agoWhy would it be plagiarism? There are tons of people that imitate other people's voices and sing covers of their songs. Why should this new use be different?
- taskforcegemini 3y agoai isn't imitating the source, it's working on copies. you need rights to use a photo of someone. why should it be different for their voice?
- gs17 3y agoAlready decided in court to an extent, Bette Midler won against Ford when they used an inpersonator to sing in an ad she refused to do.
