A lot of legislating goes on in CA that others decry as ridiculous, but I often find such criticisms to be overblown. This, on the other hand, is abject madness. I’m told it has no chance of actually making it into law, but if I were a CA-based resident or business owner, I would at least be uncomfortable with the prospect and doing some early investigation into fleeing the state.
