Well, when I drive I want to listen to my music and when I'm in a rental car I don't want to screw with software or syncing to a car I'll never be in again. So, YMMV - the aux port was and would be quite useful in the long-distance driving I do. Around town, no need for music. And when I cross into the States, I'm not paying all that roaming for streaming when I have a large-storage set of devices.
- windowsrookie 3y agoI get where you're coming from but I disagree. Bluetooth is great, I can have my phone connected to any rental car in less than 3 minutes. Then I never have to touch the radio again. "I'm not paying all that roaming for streaming when I have a large-storage set of devices." So put the music on your phone and connect to the car radio via Bluetooth to avoid streaming charges. None of the phones I have owned in the last ~4 years have even had a 3.5mm jack.
