Probably related to the constitutional referendum over the weekend, which the Left lost spectacularly[1]. I do find it funny that AP calls President Boric "centre left".

- peterfirefly 3y agoAt least the Left in Chile are trying to operate within the law this time around, very much unlike Allende.
- peterfirefly 3y agoApparently there are lots of people who don't know there were two coups in Chile: first Allende's and then the counter "coup" (because Allende had already been legally deposed but refused to leave his post).
