  Probably related to the constitutional referendum over the weekend, which the Left lost spectacularly[1].     At least the Left in Chile are trying to operate within the law this time around, very much unlike Allende.

      Apparently there are lots of people who don't know there were two coups in Chile: first Allende's and then the counter "coup" (because Allende had already been legally deposed but refused to leave his post).
