Yeah there probably were people that wrote those. Not me though, I had been through the whole wringer before k8s so I knew what it was when I saw it. I was working on a competitor to k8s at the time though so my knowledge of the subject matter definitely influenced my opinion of it. I thought it was unstable though, largely due to dependency on etcd which was also unstable at the time. Thankfully that got sorted out though.
