This title is very misleading. Rather than describe the best methods for talking to a cat, the research simply shows that cats recognize and respond to their owners talking “cat talk.”
- wombat-man 3y agoYeah. I want the best way to get the attention of a neighborhood cat. Pspsps seems to work well enough for me.
- capableweb 3y agoPspsps is a great way, scratching something noisy is another one, ideally like some plasticky material that they haven't heard being scratched/moved about before. Seems to trigger some innate curiosity system that forces them to investigate.
