So its light-gathering power is not great, it's much heavier than it needs to be, and that apochromatic triplet lens is gonna be much, much more expensive than a mirror that's twice as big. This is a wealth signifier like a diamond-encrusted cell phone. It's not a serious astronomical instrument. Well okay it's not a horrible instrument. But it's kinda like spending $thousands on a Class A tube amplifier: Inefficient as hell with results indistinguishable from something that costs 1/10 as much.
