I think the point is that bigotry is not supported by the bible, but by ancient bigots. good christians understand that people who use the bible to justify spreading hate are not good christians.
- TheFreim 3y ago"Bigotry" and "spreading hate" are meaningless terms in this context. Bigotry is defined as "making moral claims contrary to certain modern ones which I subscribe to" and "hate" is used to mean "not supporting [immoral] actions which I support".
