There is probably zero electricity on the Moon, and yet it manages to get both much hotter and much colder than the Earth, somehow. Ever wondered why?
Please read this, and then do us all a favor and read much more before trying to contribute to this subject's discussion again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_effect
- croes 3y agoThe moon has no atmosphere to spread the heat generated by the sunlight. But if we take the earth's atmosphere with its already existing temperature because of sunlight and greenhouse effect and add additional heat sources it becomes warmer or what do you think happens with the additional energy put into the atmosphere?
- Phiwise_ 3y agoAh yes. Because if thete's one future that worries the IPCC more than any other, it's the one where humans step-increase their heat output while dropping their gas output to zero. Again, please do some investigating on this subject. I'm not even super familiar with it, but you're flippantly and casually equating a linear factor to an exponential one and it's paining me to hear.
