A handheld PC console is a glorified laptop, both are mutually inclusive
- smoldesu 3y agoMaybe. I think Framework's value prop is much better on laptops, and most gamers won't really care as much about repairability or hackability. Even if they did, Framework cannot beat Valve's introductory price of $399. It seems more likely to me that GPD would make a Framework-style device than the other way around.
- WhereIsTheTruth 3y agoPrice doesn't matter, GPD is the proof GDP already have a Framework style device: https://gpd.hk/gpdwinmax2 https://gpd.hk/gpdwinmax2, Framework could design a controller module, maybe that's what they should do, sell one and test the water, if enough interest, make a handheld PC console
