Something is not clear, or does not make sense. Do they compare the consumption of crypto mining in the US, with the amount of power consumed by all computers in the US? How can the first be bigger than the second, which is the upper bound for any computing task in the US? What is this crypto computed on, if not on computers?! (of course, the energy consumption is outrageous, but this article doesn't make much sense)
