You got it: "API testing is hard for non technical people"
That's why I created this new tool. To help the non-technical tester to automated using a natural language instead java or another options.
To develop test with karate you need:
- http experience
- java & maven experience (pom.xml, etc)
- and a lot of files: https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/3322836/236533517-440f4465-80c5-4241-9c6b-d5e0eb4f621c.png https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/3322836/236533517-...
- run with java editor or maven
With T-Rext
- http experience
- plain editor/ vs code
- only the dsl with tests
- a simple shell command
Also Karate has a custom json parser implementation. In T-Rext I used the well known jsonpath: https://jsonpath.com https://jsonpath.com
