My brother is running a retreat center in Peru, I'm currently there helping out. I'm about to start a programming job next week though because I need money to build a house and to be able to travel. But basically tourism. What I miss in tech is human contact and empathy. When I'm here helping out my responsibilities are answering questions and making sure everyone has what they need (if someone needs a new towel I can get one for them, and also I do translations). I hope work will be more fun when I work fewer hours and I will also be able to fill my social needs and spend time in nature.
