At this point (and after seeing the same thing working with Deno), I would love if the Swift team created some opt-in swift-2.0 mode that would get rid of that

At this point (and after seeing the same thing working with Deno), I would love if the Swift team created some opt-in swift-2.0 mode that would get rid of that bits of syntax sugar that make Swift slow to compile. I'd rewrite some parts of my apps in a few days and never look back.
