Sounds like we'll get all sorts of _disconnected_ models. One knows all your Slack conversations but nothing else, one knows all your emails but nothing else, and so on. Sounds wildly limiting. Slack and co are probably going to try and protect their moat, so disallow a more generic tool to work through their APIs.
- kypro 3y agoBusiness will use whatever tools allow them to minimise costs. If Slack tries to "protect their moat" and in so doing prevents their users from automating tasks that other businesses have automated, those users will switch.
