I'm a millennial and this resonates with me. I live in a city, have a tech job, tech friends, a nice down payment saved, but no house. I know part of it is my introversion and risk aversion but the other half is huge home prices that feel "unfair" because I just didn't have the capital 5-10 years ago. I'm still growing, though, and hoping to break through some of my barriers this year.
