- JdeBP 4y agoI encountered one of these the other day, in a mystery .ans file. I didn't immediately recognize what the SUB character was there for, which is an interesting observation on how far we are now into the world where that character never means end of text. Interestingly, given that this is still a file format in active use by text artists, the mystery .ans file being datestamped May 2020, no-one appears to have added decoding this header to the file(1) command.
