Has Twitter discovered a better way of correcting online falsehoods?
- jfengel 3y agoThank you, Mr. Betteridge, for giving us a quick way of knowing the answer to the headline in the form of a question. People are going to continue to insist that there is no such thing as fact checking, and treat any attempt to contradict their beliefs as proof of a conspiracy against them. Crowd-sourcing it doesn't change anything. It just makes it more prone to manipulation -- which will be the first line of defense against any contradictory "note".
