Nothing Xbox Does Matters If the Games Aren’t Good
- NickC25 4y agoThe games for the most part are good. Yeah, MSFT has dropped the ball several times, and as others said in the article's comments - it seems that a lot of the times when MSFT buys a studio, the studio's output tends to nosedive in terms of quality. That said, MSFT still is lightyears ahead of Sony or Nintendo when it comes to a robust, centralized online ecosystem for multiplayer games....which is what a lot of people tend to play. Nintendo can have their single-player first party games that don't really have much replay value and their first party games that are good family fun, like Mario Kart or Mario Party or whatever. Sony can have their exclusives like Spider-man, and good for them. Nothing against them. But people will turn out in droves to play CoD, FIFA, Madden, GTA, etc... online. And that's where the future of gaming is - online multiplayer. And that's where MSFT is untouchable.
