- autoexec 3y agoI assume this only works for personal information collected right? Can someone really send an email to CNN and say "Here's my passport, now remove every article that mentioned me in any capacity immediately"?
- piaste 3y agoNo, the EDPD exempts news platforms. However, Google didn't want to be considered a news platform, because otherwise they'd be held responsible for their content. So you can't ask CNN to remove the article themselves, but you can (and people do) ask Google to remove those article from search results.
