Interesting to see how this goes - Q1 2023 still looking pretty rosey compared to Q1 2019.
- Revenue: 9,540 (Q1 2019) vs 14,207 (Q1 2023)
- EBITDA Margin: 13.0% (Q1 2019) vs 27.9% (Q1 2023)
Percentage wise, revenue from Logistics and Services is up by 2.3x (3471 vs 1521) over that time period, while Ocean Shipping revenue is only up 1.4x (14207 vs 9540). Guess that hammers the CEO's statement: "We are pleased to note that customers continue to value the integrated logistics solutions and close partnership we provide".
Looks like Maersk will keep trying to drive up the value chain.
