Where are these paramilitary racist beheading video servers people keep referring to? I have actively sought out servers contrary to the majority on Mastodon and never found anything of the sort. Pleroma is a different story, but it's still not nearly as bad as people claim. The later claim that Mastodon is teeming with racists waiting to criticise da poor black folx is so out of touch with the reality of the community that I don't even know what to say. All the major instances bend over backwards to accommodate "social justice" activists at the expense of discussion. If it exists, it exists in a sad and paternal form, not what the author is claiming.
