Wait, why does the drive report on Ukraine?
- rektide 3y agoI don't know why but "The Warzone" has been a subsection that's been around for a long time. There's a bunch of quite exceptional stellar military reporting there. I haven't read a ton of war reporting, but their reporting on weapons systems/developments has been quite interesting & detailed on all manners of topics. They manage to find a ton of interesting context to explain not just the news, but the backstory & circumstance. Reporting on the F-35's Block IV EW (https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/new-electronic-warfare-suite-top-feature-of-f-35-block-4-air-combat-boss-says https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/new-electronic-warfare...) or the history of AEGIS interview (https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/39508/how-the-aegis-combat-system-is-evolving-to-dominate-naval-warfare-of-the-future https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/39508/how-the-aegis-co...) are both reasonable enough examples (although I feel like I'd seen better coverage of Common Source Library from The War Zone before).
