These only lessen the effects. To my knowledge, there is not (nor ever has been) any respiratory "vaccine" that prevents you from getting it. It just makes your body better at fighting it.

- XorNot 3y agoYou can get COVID so mildly you don't know you actually have it. Which has been a problem for dealing with pandemic spread, but if my son can not spend 3 weeks trying to clear the cough he gets from RSV (and being upset the whole time) then that's an absolute win (had our first bout 2 months ago, preceded by rhinovirus, then followed by rhinovirus again).
