- lcnPylGDnU4H9OF 3y agoThe "insider trading" question brought up in the first paragraph got me thinking. I suspect it's been asked before (it's just a rehash of "is ChatGPT copyright infringement?") but it's the first I'd heard it. > Will some ChatGPT-style large language model manage to do some insider trading? Will it, like, ingest some corpus of data that includes inside information, and then use it to answer questions like “which stocks should I buy?” But yeah, this "everything is securities fraud" thing is... also interesting, let's say. It's a weird manifestation of Poe's law. I can't tell if such lawyers "drank the kool-aid" or not.
