When I was a kid I used that exact chunking to memorize it backwards as well.
- anonymouskimmer 3y agoI was explicitly taught to chunk it this way. I think it either has to do with whoever first spread the chunking method, or the fact that VUTS, PON, MLK, JIHG, and FED are either words or word like, making the memorization easier, with ZYXW, RQ, and CBA just leftover groupings of convenient size.
