Huawei is an interesting trail balloon for the effect of escalating US sanctions. Clearly demonstrates that the US can do a lot of damage to any Chinese company at will. However it also demonstrates that long term it will cause challenges to businesses that otherwise probably wouldn’t have been challenged (ie inside EDA or ERP).
