Outlook, and soon Teams links to open in Microsoft Edge by default
- bilekas 3y agoThis is so frustrating. Removing edge is a tricky endeavor too, I wouldn't normally bother and I might have some nice things to say about Edge recently but these aggressive tactics just push me into completely nuking it from my machine. They're reverting back to the anti-competitive methods they played in the 90's and 00's.
- microflash 3y agoSo, Microsoft has already been intercepting the links in their Office 365 apps as a part of Safe Links feature [1] which is also conveniently turned on by default. Now, apart from this, we have to deal with links being opened in Edge by default. Sigh.
