This is amazing. GPT Code Interpreter is amazing. I think it's what OpenAI was working on alongside or instead of GPT-5.
I tried the command "what are the top ten wikipedia articles submitted to hacker news" and it worked through it for twenty pages, hitting some problems but eventually getting it just right and recognizing that it had answered the original question. This is some AI scientist stuff here. Here's what it finally put, in table form:
Project Cybersyn 27
Eternal September 26
Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocol 23
Dunning–Kruger effect 22
List of common misconceptions 22
Benford's Law 22
Heisenbug 20
Lindy Effect 20
IP over Avian Carriers 20
Null Island 19
The final query that it figured out was
SELECT title, COUNT(*) AS Count FROM items WHERE url LIKE '%wikipedia.org%' AND type = 'story' GROUP BY title ORDER BY COUNT(*) DESC LIMIT 10;
It said that the whole process cost seven cents.
