What is new in display panels?

- MikeTheGreat 3y agoWhat do you mean by "software baked into the display"? (Like, firmware? Or is this more like an all-in-one type computer but the 'computer' part is equivalent to a Raspberry Pi/Arduino/etc [So - programmable, but somewhat minimal?]?)
- Our_Benefactors 3y agoSome high end displays for example have a piece of hardware to control the display, will all sorts of multi monitor settings. I suppose you could call this firmware but it’s much more advanced than the previous setup of a few buttons for menu driven use. They can also take software updates, I think?

- vinaypai 3y agoAR/VR needs display tech.
