- reimertz 3y agoI just read the "Are mental health apps better or worse at privacy in 2023?" article and felt frustrated that 29k was not mentioned nor reviewed. 29k is an non-profit that I had the opportunity to work at three years ago and I'd hope they would be mentioned in articles like these. Being a non-profit, privacy-first and open-sourced platform[0], backed by the Norrsken Foundation[1], I think a our community should help give them the focus they deserve. They currently have two apps, the "29k" App that has been in the works for a couple of years which has a lot of amazing content.[2,3] And the Aware App which is currently in Early Access that takes the best parts of the 29k app. This is fully open-sourced.
