Infinity is equal to the product of all the primes. It is even because it has 2 as a factor.
- drexlspivey 3y agoIt’s also equal to the product of all primes except 2 so it’s odd.
- kibwen 3y agoThis just implies that infinity is both even and odd, which means that the statement "infinity is even" is still technically correct by this reasoning.

- paulddraper 3y agoOdd is defined as not even.

- jstimpfle 3y agoI find that primes are an odd thing to bring into the discussion, not even mildly relevant.
- ndsipa_pomu 3y agoMore worryingly, it raises the question of whether infinity is prime. I suppose that if it's even, then it won't be prime, but then again infinity/2 is still infinity so we can't assume that division works the same way.
