Large companies don't get many of the H1B visas overall, and they generally aren't the ones abusing the H1B visa process. Last I saw, something like 80%+ of H1Bs went to bodyshops like Infosys and TCS, which certainly don't pay well, and definitely do make their employees live somewhere where job swapping isn't easy.
