Ask HN: What are the best courses on Human-Computer Interaction?
Hello,
I'm really interested in diving deeper into the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and I'm looking for the best courses that cover this topic. The ones I've found on the internet seems to be out-dated. Or, the newer ones are leaning towards User Experience design, which is I feel like a higher level subject.
If you've got any suggestions for online courses, universities, or other fun learning resources that give a solid grasp of HCI, I'd be super grateful.
- whatever_yeah 3y agoThe HCI course at GA OMSCS by Prof. Joyner is very high quality, and all the lecture videos and material are free and open for nonstudents as well: https://omscs.gatech.edu/cs-6750-human-computer-interaction-course-videos https://omscs.gatech.edu/cs-6750-human-computer-interaction-...

- local_crmdgeon 3y agoNOT the GaTech HCI/Joyner class. A few people recommended it to me - this is my recommendation to avoid.
