- steve_adams_86 3y agoI'm just coming off of a contract and looking for something long or short-term. I've got a fairly broad range of experience, but I'm best suited to full-stack development using technologies like Go, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Rust, Docker, and typical front end technologies. I'm comfortable fine-tuning client side performance, working in a tight feedback loop with designers in Figma, or building a CLI tool with Rust — my primary focus is always making useful, awesome things that people will love using, regardless of where it's used or how it's built. That's what drives me and keeps me engaged. Something else I enjoy a lot is supporting a team. With my experience comes a lot of opportunities to mentor, break down learning barriers, and make development better for my team mates. There's nothing better than helping someone plan a confident path forward, unblocking them, or teaching them something new — it multiplies outputs and makes a day so much more rewarding. Although I have recent experience with embedded systems, that's kind of outlying; I have a fascination with that technology, but the bulk of what I do is on the web. What I'm best at typically happens in a browser. Occasionally I'll take on jobs that'll send me into robotics and embedded systems, but I'm never too far from my core, primary skill sets. I'm also not all that amazing with electronics or embedded programming — mostly just enthusiastic and interested in learning more. Location: Canada Remote: 100% Willing to relocate: No Technologies: Many, but I'm best with TypeScript, React, and Go these days. Others as the top of my list are Rust, Python, FSM, Postgres Résumé/CV: https://standardresume.co/r/steveadams Email: steve@steve-adams.me Website: https://steve-adams.me

- poeticsilence 3y agoLOCATION: SF REMOTE: OK RELOCATE: No TECHNOLOGIES: Ruby, Scala, Python, JS/TS, Haskell CV: Upon request EMAIL: pure.fp.computational.poetry@gmail.com I'm a principal software engineer with 14 years of experience who currently specializes in the application of generative AI technologies. I have significant no-code experience (over 10 years building no-code tools for every part of the stack), and am very interested in applying this to help democratize access to the advanced uses of generative AI [without any coding necessary]. I've recently built a framework for scaffolding and combining together trees of prompts into cognitive networks; I used this to create tools for 1) deep analysis of nonfiction [including scientific literature] and poetry that perform better than the (public) state of the art 2) an automated outliner of your stream of consciousness that inserts and organizes your latest stream into an arbitrarily large outline without vector database techniques 3) an automated 'Rumi-nator' that takes text and transforms it over several hundred iterations, while keeping roughly the same subject and without losing content, into a significantly more poetic, fascinating, coherent, instructive, and erudite work. Speaking with many professionals in the AI space, the output of this process is of a higher quality than any other LLM without manual human guidance that any have ever seen. Please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or for my CV. I look forward to hearing from you!
