Court Protects Redditors’ Right to Anonymous Speech in Piracy Case
- polishdude20 4y agoSeems like an ISP having "no data caps" is not grounds for accusing them of harboring pirates.
- mindslight 4y agoIn the minds of imaginary property maximalists, the world is a zero sum game to be divided up and parceled out through artificial rules and regulations. So an ISP not doing one of the most common ways of squeezing customers is an indication of that business not holding the line of artificial scarcity.
- NoZebra120vClip 4y agoYet another unfortunate creep of the definition of "anonymous". AFAIK, Reddit does not have an anonymous framework for users to comment; they are assigned a username, and each username carries with it a profile, a reputation, and a post history. I have been made aware of some forums and services which strive to be truly anonymous, but Reddit ain't it.
