Recently, more and more people have noticed that the cryptocurrency exchange okx secretly modifies user agreements, causing a large number of users to be unable to withdraw their money:

OKX suddenly changed their rules without any notice or announcement, prohibiting many KYC Level 1 users from withdrawing their assets. They claimed it was "for compliance" and "to protect users" without providing any buffer time.
When OKX attracted new users, they wrote that if you completed Level 1 KYC verification, you could have a withdrawal limit of 500,000 U per day until April 29.
However, once you submitted your information and deposited your assets, you would find that you could only withdraw 5,000 U in total.
As more and more users noticed this and raised it with them, they claimed it was a BUG. They modified this prompt by working overtime during the holiday, but users who had already deposited were still prohibited from withdrawing more than 5,000 U in assets.
The attitude of the OKX official customer service is very arrogant. If you want to retrieve your assets, they offer several options:
- Submit more private data and biometric data for forced verification
- Contact their customer service and provide more private data through strange channels like QQ, and record an extremely humiliating video to assure them that you are a good person in front of the camera, then they will consider allowing you to get your money back
Note:
- OKX has three KYC levels:
- KYC1 only requires basic identity information to trade and withdraw within a reasonable range
- KYC2 and 3 require users to provide biometric data and more privacy information to get higher limits
Such brazen breach of promise does not seem to anger the speculators in the blockchain field. Most people's response is "If there is nothing wrong with your coin, why don't you dare to verify it?"
Hey guys, look, they (OKX) spread bait on the road, waited until they attracted enough prey, and suddenly closed the cage door. The prey must prove themselves to be "legitimate pigs" to get out alive.
